Thank You, Paragon

Dear friends,

It’s been an incredible journey for our gallery over the past 36 years. For 22 of those years, our gallery has been located at the Paragon. That’s a lot of memories. There comes a time however, when we have to make a change. In a famous Tang poem by Wang Zhi Huan, the poet climbs up the stairs to the next level of a pagoda. You see wider and further, and it gives you a fresh perspective.

It was a difficult decision, but we want to be in a larger gallery space in a neighbourhood that complements the bohemian character of our contemporary artists. As chance would have it, we found a space that doubles the size of our current gallery in the heritage conservation district of Tiong Bahru.

We’ll miss Paragon, but it’s time to step outside of our comfort zone. There’s a long journey behind us, and we invite you to join us as we climb those stairs to a new adventure ahead. We’ll see you at our new home at 1H Yong Siak Street.
